Booking Last Minute Is Never a Good Idea
It’s never good news to find out that the hotel you were planning on staying at now can’t accommodate you. That happened to myself and my wife last month. We made it to our layover and were waiting around the airport when I got a phone call. Turns out the hotel we were going to stay at had a fire and all bookings were cancelled. For a moment I didn’t know what to do. I was just in awe. Then I remembered that all of the uk airports I had been in had information booths were I could pick up brochures on hotels. To cut to the chase, I found us a hotel at the last minute and I’m still thankful they squeezed us in.
