Working in a Green Office
I really appreciate all that GBCI, Green Building Certification Institute, is doing to improve the design and environmental impact of office buildings. It is very nice to work in a building with a healthful and productive working environment. The added benefit of environmental responsibility is a business that costs less to maintain and operate. The new leed exam for interior design and construction will help commercial interior designers gain the knowledge necessary to continue to improve upon the work environment of office workers. There is also a LEED Green Building Rating System for new projects, which sets a standard for green building.
