Simple Shoulder Exercises
There are intensive shoulder strength training exercises designed for athletes, but there are also exercises that anyone can do just to strengthen their shoulder muscles. One simple exercise is to stand up with hands on your sides, each hand holding a dumbbell. Raise both arms sideways until they are in level with your shoulders. Then bring your arms down. Repeat the motion 10 times. There are other exercises you can do even in your own home. Use dumbbells that are not too heavy, but not too light for you. If there is a gym near you, you can find an array of equipment to choose from. Most gyms have trainers who can guide you on the shoulder strength training exercises that would be right for you.
