Falling Is a Primary Cause Of Lower Back Pain

I didn’t see that ice at the bottom of our deck step. It blended in perfectly with the blackness of the paving there. Wth grocery bags in both hands, I couldn’t see much below my feet anyway, and down I went, flat on my back. I knew instantly that I had really stretched or sprained something. Since falls are one of the common causes of lower back pain, I guessed that I would be bearing the brunt of this for a while. Sure enough, it was a full six weeks before I began to feel comfortable again. I will be so much more careful from now on.
