If you don’t like the taste of the water from your tap and you’re fed up lugging bottled water back from the supermarket to your house then you should maybe think about getting yourself a Brita filter jug - they’re cheap, easy to use and very much better for the environment than using bottled water. The number of empty plastic bottles that find their way to landfill sites every year is enormous. Fewer than 25% of discarded water bottles are recycled at the moment. People are becoming more environmentally aware, but it doesn’t seem likely that this percentage will grow rapidly.
