The Implication of Heart Disease Risk Factors

Male smokers in their middle ages, with high cholesterol and blood pressure die around 10 years sooner than their peers who did not have any of these causes of heart disease according to a new study. But few studies have tackled the issue on the extent which life expectancy is shortened by having these heart disease risk factors. To do so, researchers shift through data from 19,000 male who were given medical examination in the late 1960s when they were 40 to 69 years old.
