Getting in shape

I have a hard time sleeping.  I am usually up every 2 hours throughout the night.  This causes a great deal of stress for me.  My body never gets that deep, healing rest it needs.  Thus I am desperately out of shape beacause of all the cortisol from the stress.  I have tried yoga for stress relief and it did seem to help me in that area, but in the long run it would hurt my back, and I would end up at the chiropractors office every other month.  I am looking for some new tips to get in shape.  Something for the stress especially.
