New Pipettes and Microscopes for the High School

I am a high school science teacher at a fairly rural school. Although we live in a place pretty far off the beaten path, most people in town are fairly well off, and all of them are very supportive of the schools. Like last winter, when I petitioned the school board to get some new equipment for the chemistry lab. They unanimously voted to provide the funds I needed, and now we have a wonderful new lab, stocked with brand new microscopes, pipettes, lab coats, and a whole lot more. I have to say, I wouldn’t work anywhere else, because I think more places should be super supportive of teachers and education.
