Insulate a Little Space to Save A Lot of Energy
Sometimes when you do the smallest of things, they end up making the biggest difference. That very thing happened to me when I realized that I was letting too much warm air escape into our attic. It was a small effort to add the attic stairs insulation one afternoon. We cut pieces of insulation to fit and pushed it into place. It did not cost much at all, but I believe we will be able to reduce our energy consumption this heating season. Heating costs keep rising so we need to do something to keep our heat from rising into empty spaces.
