What a Quality Wiperblade Can Change For You

A good and reliable wiperblade is imperative for driving safely these modern days. Almost all vehicles these days have wiperblades fitted, including trains and even aircraft. The inventor J. H. Apjohn from the USA was the forst person to come up with the idea in 1903. Also in 1903, Mary Anderson came up with a modification of the blade by using a ‘swinging arm’ mechanism. Most windscreen wipers operate alongside a pump, this helps to keep the screen clear for good visibility. The pump can be filled with wiper fluid or in warmer climates water can be used – although problems can occur at low temperatures with water freezing. Eventually the technology advanced so that wiperblades were eventually added to headlights and the rear window. With the advancment of technology we now see cars with rain sensitive wiperblades that activate when it rains.
